There are two options of card memberships to choose from, Virgin Money and the “Plus” version of the card. For the former, there are no annual fees involved, and it is designed to earn you flying miles by day-to-day spending though at a relatively slower rate.
On the other hand, the “Plus” versions offer a better earn rate that comes with a cost of an annual fee. If you are a regular Virgin Atlantic spender, then this card may be worth your time. You will also be given introductory bonus miles on your first purchase. In addition to that, flights and holidays booked with Virgin Atlantic Credit Card will earn you twice the miles.
The main incentive is that you will earn 0.75 flying club miles for every £1 spent and 1.5 miles for every £1 spent with Virgin Atlantic. You may also enjoy a free upgrade to a premium or a companion ticket if you spend £20k a year on your card. The foreign usage charge is 2.99%, excluding the EU. Standard fees and charges include 1% or £25 or the total of any interest, default fees and charges plus 1% of the outstanding balance. The late payment fee is £9.
