Yorkshire Bank is the trading name used by Clydesdale Bank Plc to operate as a retail bank in the United Kingdom. It was founded on 1 May 1859 by Edward Akroyd. and was formed as a financial services provider.
Its headquarters were located on 20 Merrion Way, Leeds, the United Kingdom, before relocating along with 200 employees to the bank’s flagship branch in Briggate. The cause of this relocation was due to the bank changing authorities, and its name from Yorkshire bank to Virgin Money.

Yorkshire Bank Review
The Yorkshire MasterCard offers cardholders the benefit of a fee waiver in the first year of membership, followed by a £29 annual fee starting from the second year. Yorkshire Bank offers a business MasterCard with excellent reporting of transactions, account summaries and other important information for the cardholder. Moreover, your business can also benefit from 0% interest on your purchases up to 59 days, given you clear your balance on time each month.
However, according to customer reviews online, there seems to be a lack of customer satisfaction shown by low user ratings. This perhaps could be the result of relatively more expensive loans as compared to those obtained and offered from other banks.
